Why do you call yourselves Fast & Focused?

The name is my mission statement. Since 2006, I have built a reputation for quickly creating and delivering interview generating executive, professional and entry-level resumes. Everything I do is focused around one goal: getting more interviews for our clients as quickly as possible.

The Fast & Focused difference starts right from your first phone call or e-mail. In addition to scheduling an appointment sometime in the next couple of days, Fast & Focused immediately sends you a specially designed proprietary questionnaire to help you set forth the full range of your skills and achievements. As you complete the questionnaire, you be asked for key details that separate you from other applicants and prove that you are an ideal candidate for the job. Once we receive the returned questionnaire, we write the skeleton of the resume and cover letter. With that our writer is prepared to conducts an in-depth client interview that focuses on filling in the gaps in the information we have received. We skilfully draw out additional accomplishments demonstrating that our clients have the skills and character that hiring managers are looking for. Then we state and organize those accomplishments for maximum impact, making sure that our clients’ key accomplishments will be read within the first ten seconds reading time. Once the final additions and changes receive client approval, we send the final copies of the resume and cover letter in both Word and text files (with .pdf and hard copy files available on request).

At every step, we save you time and money. Instead of waiting two or three days for an interview with a resume writer, you have our questionnaire in hand immediately. Instead of paying for a writer’s time as he or she takes notes of all your data, you provide much of your information by completing the questionnaire in far less time than an interview would take. How secure is your website?

Fast & Focused uses the latest encryption key over Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to provide the highest level of security. SSL provides encryption between web browsers and web servers.

Do you follow a code of ethics?

Yes. Fast and Focused is a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARW/CC) and we happily subscribe to its code of ethics.

What happens when I purchase a resume package?

When you purchase a resume package I immediately send you our proprietary Resume Preparation Kit by e-mail or fax, and I also schedule an interview. The heart of the kit is a specially designed questionnaire that helps you bring out your skills, achievements and character. When you complete the questionnaire, just email or fax it back, together with any reference letters you have and any job ads to which you plan to apply. If you have an old resume, send me a copy also. Once I receive this information, I prepare a skeleton draft of your resume and prepare interview questions. With this done, I can spend most of the interview reviewing and strengthening your questionnaire answers, adding any missing information, and uncovering additional accomplishments that will catch an employer’s eye. Then I write the first draft of your resume package by e-mail for you to review. Let me know of any final changes and they will be incorporated into the final draft and sent to you by e-mail.

Do you do resumes for clients seeking work in other countries?

Yes, I have provided resumes for clients seeking work in the United States, Australia, the Arabian Gulf and Caribbean countries and I stay current on resume and CV requirements for the entire English speaking world.

Do you offer rush service?

In most cases we create a resume package in less than three business days from the time you return the completed questionnaire, but faster service is available if needed. The current record time for producing a resume package is one business day.

What formats are available?

We normally send draft versions of our packages in Word’s .doc format which is easily imported into most word processors. After our clients approve final drafts, we resend them in both Word and text format so our clients can apply online through online form boxes. Printed copies of our packages are also available at a slight additional charge.

What forms of payment do you accept?
